If anyone on DOI believed Holly Willoughby used a 'naughty word,' she apologises.

In case fans of Dancing On Ice believed Holly Willoughby used a "naughty word" in the show's opening, Holly has issued an apology.

Willoughby was taken aback when his co-host Stephen Mulhern began reciting his lines using a loudhailer during the Sunday show's introduction.

On Sunday, after a few celebs gave performances, Willoughby stopped the show to explain the situation.

She remarked, "Stephen might have made me jump a little bit earlier on; it sounded like a dirty word slipped out."

"I apologize if you believed you heard something that I didn't say, but I don't think I did.

"Since you can watch these things back on ITV Player, I'll watch it again there."

Additionally, she blamed Mulhern, her new co-host, for "being so naughty."

The 42-year-old presenter has been hosting the ITV ice skating show since 2006. She departed This Morning in October after 14 years on the sofa.

She took a few months off from the small screen before returning for the premiere of the new Dancing On Ice season.

Mulhern took over the position after Phillip Schofield left ITV in the previous year.

Willoughby shared an Instagram photo of her movie week ensemble ahead of Sunday's show.

She wore a black Rasario dress with a high split, a cross-strap neck, and two white bows at the waist to hide a keyhole cut during the third week of the show. She accessorized the outfit with black strappy Jimmy Choo heels.

She added, "Let's go to the movies... it's movie week on @dancingonice," next to the photo.
